J & D Licensure Consultants provide independent practitioners, small networks, and physician group practices with a credentialing service, which allows providers to delegate the task of contracting with health care organizations. On average, a provider will apply to 10 to 20 health care organizations, such as hospitals and health plans. Each health care organization require practitioners to complete credentialing applications, compile supportive documentation, and request for verification of certain credentials to be sent to the health care entity.
J & D Licensure Consultants simplifies this process by completing applications, request and/or submit supportive documents, and serve as a liaison between the practitioner(s) and the health care entity. The primary goal is to remove the administrative hassle surrounding the time consuming credentialing process.
Activities:
Perform all administrative requirements associated with the application process, to include but not be limited to:
Request applications from various managed care programs and hospitals
Consult on the conditions of participation with which providers must comply for each manage care programs and/or hospitals
Application completion and/or review
Compile and submit all necessary documents to accompany applications
Communicate with health insurance companies, provider relations departments, medical staff offices, and other entities to check the application status
Research and assist with understanding the complexities of managed care, fee schedules, and reimbursement schedules
Record and report which health plans, hospitals, etc have accepted the application
